OUR INFRASTRUCTURE

Neova’s infrastructure is a fully decentralized, distributed network designed to provide secure, resilient, and user-controlled data storage and cloud solutions. The network operates on a mesh of independent nodes, with less than 5% owned by Neova itself, ensuring low centralization and promoting robust community participation. This approach minimizes single points of failure, enhancing both security and network resilience against attacks or disruptions.

The architecture is modular, comprised of "mini clouds" or node clusters, which work together to balance data load, prevent capacity bottlenecks, and adapt dynamically to growing demand. Data security is maintained through advanced encryption and sharding techniques, with files split into fragments stored redundantly across multiple nodes. This setup prevents any single node from holding complete files, protecting user data privacy and reinforcing data integrity in case of node failures.

Neova’s infrastructure leverages IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) as a foundation for its decentralized data handling. IPFS enables efficient data distribution, reducing server load and speeding up file transfers while ensuring high redundancy and data security. Neova’s adaptation of IPFS enhances these benefits by decentralizing storage further, aligning with the platform's goal of creating a truly resilient cloud solution.

The network includes strategically placed master nodes and P2P nodes :

Master nodes, located in various location around the world, manage and coordinate data assignment and integrity checks while reducing latency for users by assigning data tasks to geographically proximate P2P nodes. This setup ensures rapid data access and adheres to data residency requirements (GDPR e.g.), critical for organizations needing regional compliance.

P2P nodes, which form the backbone of the network, can be operated by individuals and businesses alike, contributing storage resources in exchange for rewards in $NEOV tokens. These nodes add flexibility to the network, as they can operate on devices ranging from personal computers to enterprise servers, easily scaling the system to meet growing storage demands.

This distributed, decentralized design prioritizes data security and privacy, regulatory compliance, and seamless scalability, providing users and organizations with a reliable, user-centric alternative to centralized cloud services.

PROOF OF STORAGE - DYNAMIC REWARDS

Neova’s token reward system is designed to incentivize P2P storage node providers through $NEOV tokens, based on their storage contributions, network usage, and node reliability. Providers offering larger, actively used, and reliable storage earn higher rewards, ensuring the network’s growth and stability.

Each month, a fixed number of tokens are released for rewards, with a portion reserved in a vault for future distributions. The reward rate adjusts dynamically according to $NEOV’s price: if the price rises, fewer tokens are needed per unit of storage; if the price falls, more tokens are distributed to maintain provider incentives.

The vault percentage can also be adjusted based on network demand, the number of active providers, and token price fluctuations, ensuring rewards remain sustainable.

Slashing Mechanism To maintain network integrity, a slashing mechanism penalizes malicious or negligent behavior from providers. Actions like faking data storage, extended node downtime, or altering data lead to penalties, ensuring that providers adhere to the network's standards and maintain trust. This system encourages responsible participation and helps secure a reliable decentralized infrastructure.

Neova ecosystem offers a fully decentralized, blockchain-based infrastructure designed to empower developers, businesses, and individuals in both Web3 and Web2 landscapes.
